Rosemarie Hayhow

Six years after qualifying as a speech therapist I obtained a MSc in Human Communication. During the following twenty years I worked with children and adults who stammer, lectured on several different SLT courses and obtained a Diploma in Personal Construct Psychology.

In 1995 I moved to Bristol and have continued clinical work in the field of stammering and have also contributed to the stammering research programme at SLTRU.

Currently, I am working towards a PhD at UWE, completing a project that explores children's responsiveness to the Lidcombe Program  and continuing to work with both children and adults who stammer.

I am an advisor for both the British Stammering Association and the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists and a founder member of the Lidcombe Program Trainers Consortium.
