I qualified as a speech and language therapist from Sheffield University in 2006. Last year I returned to Bristol and completed some part time research assistant work at the SLTRU.

After gaining a studentship from the Underwood Trust later in the year, I was able to enrol in a PhD with the University of The West of England. My project is looking at Receptive Language Impairment in children, the nature of their difficulties as well has how Speech and Language Therapists manage them.
